- About William C. Harris & Steven C. Beschloss
Publisher’s Note: Many of our members will recognize Bill Harris’ name from the rather miraculous work he did in Ireland, as that Tiger was first coming online, and in the work he has done since in Arizona, during the zenith of its more recent, and equally impressive, public/private cooperation phase.
In this piece, Bill attacks a key question that faces the United States today: should we let anti-immigration feelings, fired up by the 9.11 attacks and fueled by the invasion of southern border “visitors,” affect our global international policies? As you know, virtually all of the large technology companies have taken a position similar to that espoused here, and I think you’ll find Bill’s arguments compelling, well-documented, and perhaps useful in your own next trip to the Hill to argue for expanded visa allowances. – mra.
