——
Publisher’s Note: In this issue of our quarterly Asia Letter by Scott Foster, he proposes an alliance that we’ve been dreading since the rapprochement between China and Russia – one made possible by Donald Trump’s ongoing and increasingly irrational missteps in foreign policy. There may be worse news than seeing Japan and China working together on a new axis, but if so, I don’t know what it is.
We will be talking more about “China’s New Plan” tonight, 12/7, at our 13th annual Predictions Dinner, held in NYC, where I look forward to seeing many of you for a more prolonged discussion of the fast-changing world of technology and the economy. – mra.
